Description
In this case, I propose an interior journey and a reflection based on the eleven geometric and non-representative elements that make up his work entitled Suprematist Construction of Colour 1928-1929 from the collection of the State Russian Museum in Saint Petersburg.
I developed a series of compositional variations that at first could have been alternatives created by the artist himself but in this simulation exercise progressively transcends the original premises outlined by Malevich.
Through the system of relationships between the forms that make up the composition, we can observe how different tensions of attraction or repulsion originate from their arrangement in space, thus revealing the play of magnetism typical of its formal, chromatic, spatial and tonal qualities.
I invite the viewer to consider the potential of possibilities that can reside in any work of art, understanding the latent universe that they hold within and that each artist expresses according to his preexisting notions. It is them that define his style and, therefore, his personality.
